Kevin Marsh has been involved in the civil engineering, infrastructure and property fields for over 30 years. His specialities include property, project and development management together with public works and Public Private Partnership (PPP) tender submission preparation.
Areas of expertise include property due diligence, acquisitions and disposals, development feasibilities and contract structuring and negotiations, together with consultant scoping, briefing and resource consent application coordination. Kevin specialises in client side project management for a variety of projects, including office fit-out, FF&E procurement, new construction and refurbishment for correctional, retail, hospitality, commercial offices, laboratories and industrial buildings.
Kevin's attention to detail particularly budget control has earned him a reputation with clients, funders and banks as a team member who can be relied on to provide accurate budgets and detailed reporting.
He has highly developed skills in tender management, tender attribute preparation and strategic input for tender strategies. He has worked on or within PPP, alliance, partnering and collaborative contracting models.
Kevin has worked for some of Australasia's largest organisations assisting with property and infrastructure projects and tender submissions, for correctional facilities, defence projects, water and wastewater network maintenance, open space management, roading contracts and facilities management. These include Serco, Fulton Hogan, Abigroup, Bilfinger Berger Services, Lend lease, Transfield, Spotless Services, Works Infrastructure, Excell Corporation (now Downer) and Auckland City Council.
Kevin has excellent industry connections and a reputation for integrity and thoroughness.
He has qualifications in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying (NZCE and NZCLS, int.) and has completed additional marketing and business papers at Auckland University. He was a previous Board member of the NZIOB.
Kevin is a keen cyclist and sailor, having competed in numerous Round Taupo events, Bay in a Day Cycle Challenge (Melbourne), Tour Down Under Community Challenge (Adelaide). He is a regular competitor in both RNZYS and RYC Wednesday night sailing series.
