Heather Clinton

Heather is a highly competent project/programme professional and analyst who likes to put her skills towards implementing and improving, especially when it comes to people, systems and processes. Her ability to coordinate, anticipate issues and take the initiative when required make her central to the project at hand, while making life easier for the management team tasked with delivering it.

Heather’s broad-ranging experience has included accounts and office management roles where she has been responsible for contracts and purchasing, all financial functions, HR and payroll, health and safety, people management and training delivery. She is versed in providing Executive, Director and Manager support and comfortable working at a senior level.

A previous role as a Police Welfare Officer supporting 1500+ staff and families has developed her counselling, rehabilitation, coaching and support skills, which prove invaluable in many settings.

Heather’s research, assessment and problem solving abilities have been put to good use in analyst positions, reviewing processes and policies, gap analysis and creating new business rules and guidelines, as well as leading cost modelling exercises.

More recently Heather’s focus has been on project and programme coordination, where her organisational skills and ability to relate with a wide range of people has allowed her to successfully lead groups and individuals in small to medium projects, and support large programmes of work. Her versatility and ownership make her the lynchpin of any project, ensuring progress stays on track.

These roles have also allowed her to hone her documentation and reporting skills, creating user and training guides, project plans, business cases, interdependency, risk, issue, decision and change control registers, communication and resourcing plans, as well as GANNT timelines.

Heather is a quick and efficient worker, and enjoys being part of a team with a goal and a mission.

Away from the office Heather has an interest in health, fitness and nutrition. She also guides international visitors on gourmet walking food tours and is a recreational road motorcyclist.
